I'm very close to believing that LOST is the best TV series of the past few years. After Season 2, I'll admit, my wife and I lost of a bit of interest. There were the wandering plotlines, the deliberately misleading images and revelations, and that series ended very unsatisfactorily for me. We left it some time, and then decided to try Series 3.
Glad we did.
We watched the season finale last night (in one of those 'we'll only watch one episode tonight' moments when we ended up watching three), and it was stunning. I'll not say much, because there might be two or three people in the world who still haven't seen it. But it was certainly a surprise for me.
I'm looking forward to Season 4 (and I know I'm way behind for some of you, but my wife and I watch these series on DVD ... we don't have Sky, or Cable, or whatever it's called now, because as far as I'm concerned we already have a dozen channels of mostly shit, so why would we want to add another 300 channels of crap?)
The best TV these days is coming out of the USA. Fact. Although to be fair, Britain does still have Harry Hill presenting 'You've Been Framed'.
