Tracey (my wife) and I don't get to go out much on our own. Two young kids will do that to you. We only use family as babysitters, and someone told me there's a law, or something, against leaving your 2 and 6 year olds alone in the house with some biscuits in a bowl on the floor and a cup of water.
So ... we don't get out much.
But last Saturday, we did. We went to Cardiff with my sister Catherine and her boyfriend Dave, had some drinks and watched Kings of Leon play some wonderful music and interact with the crowd not a jot. And we got hammered. Plastered. Pissed as a mattress. Four sheets to the wind. Some lovely real ale first, then a meal, then some more beer, then some stupidly priced lager in the concert hall, then more beer afterward watching Live8 on a big screen in the pub, then tequila, then whiskey, then wine when we got back to their place ...
Still recovering. Can't type. Knackered. Oh my God, the price we pay ....
DESOLATION: have you read it? What do you think? It's been getting some mixed reviews, and I'd really like to hear what you think. There's a thread about it at my message board here http://http://www.timlebbon.net/forum/default.asp , so please drop by and leave your comments.
