It's been a while since my last update, but this time it's a site update I have to tell you about, not just a new news posting. In the Bibliography section of my site you'll find details of my new books just released from Leisure, Night Shade and Prime. And in the Latest Extract section you can read the first few pages of my novel FACE, from Night Shade Books.
I've been very busy over the past couple of months, mainly working on new stuff for the novella collection which Night Shade are publishing next April. The title is now confirmed as WHITE AND OTHER TALES OF RUIN. It will be a big collection, 6 novellas, and I've just finished one of the original pieces for the book. 'Hell' clocks in at 35,000 words, and I had great fun writing it!
I recently received THE MAMMOTH BOOK OF BEST NEW HORROR containing my story 'The Repulsion'. Released soon is CHILDREN OF CTHULHU, which contains my story 'The Stuff of the Stars, Leaking', and PHANTOMS OF VENICE from Shadow Publishing, which includes my story 'Last Exit for the Lost' (I'm especially pleased as I was able, finally, to write a story for this Fields of the Nephilim song!)
BOOK NEWS!
Firstly, MESMER is set for a re-release by Prime Books in the USA. It'll be out as a limited hardback and trade paperback, much as it was published originally (although I will be doing a little work on it here and there).
Cemetery Dance will soon be publishing UNTIL SHE SLEEPS, my new short novel. I've seen the cover art by John Picacio and it's just stunning, a real work of art!
I've signed contracts with Cemetery Dance, along with Pete Crowther, for publication of our collaborative novella INTO THE WILD GREEN YONDER. We're hoping that this will be out next year, but as we're still working on it that's yet to be confirmed!
There are other bits and pieces that are awaiting contracts, but be sure I'll be posting details here as and when they're confirmed.
