And check out this gorgeous cover for MIND THE GAP, the novel I've written in collaboration with Chris Golden (click on the cover for a closer look). Due out next May from Bantam Spectra.
It has been a really, really good week.
First, on Wednesday DUSK and DAWN sold in Germany (details of publisher etc coming soon ....). I'm thrilled.
Then later that evening my agent called to tell me that the 30 DAYS OF NIGHT movie novelisation I wrote for Pocket Books is on the next New York Times Bestseller list! Here's the link for you to check it out ... it's at #31.
And yes, I've looked at this page many times already ...
To top it off, I'm hoping for some exciting news about a YA project very soon. Too early to spill the beans yet, but the can's being shaken in readiness, and as soon as there's news I'll post it here first.
Some Hobgoblin ale for me this evening, then .....

Two new interviews have gone live recently:
I talked with SCI FI Wire about winning the British Fantasy Award for DUSK. And I'm delighted to announce - just too late for this interview - that DUSK and DAWN will be published soon in Germany. More details of the publisher and publication dates soon, along with - fingers crossed - some more foreign sales.
I also chatted with Dark Scribe Magazine about the 30 DAYS OF NIGHT movie novelisation I wrote. And watch this space soon for some very exciting news about that book ...
There's an interview with me here about DUSK winning the British Fantasy award, and other stuff. The UKSF Book News Network is a wonderful site, make sure you have a good look around when you're there.
And ... thirteen years ago today, I married my lovely missus, Tracey. Aww ...

Here's the cover for my new novel due from Bantam May next year. Gorgeous, eh? (click on it for a bigger image). Love to hear what you think of it.
