More New Books News

My short novel UNTIL SHE SLEEPS is out now from Cemetery Dance Publications. I've just seen a copy myself and it looks wonderful, a beautifully produced hardback with splendid artwork by John Picacio (he did the cover for FACE as well, and I hope to be working again with him in the future). You can order from the usual dealers or direct from Cemetery Dance at www.cemeterydance.com.

And just a day later, my copy of CHILDREN OF CTHULHU turned up! This is a Del Rey hardback, edited by John Pelan and Benjamin Adams, with original work inspired by the writings of HP Lovecraft. As well as yours truly it contains stories by Poppy Z. Brite, Richard Laymon, Steve Rasnic Tem, Mark Chadbourn and Brian Hodge, as well as many others. Pick it up from any bookstore or online dealer.

New Book News

Here's another update with some exciting book news! I've been eager to post this for a while, and now that details are agreed and contracts sorted, here we go ...

Night Shade Books will be publishing three new books of mine over the next couple of years. First out will be WHITE AND OTHER TALES OF RUIN, a huge novella collection due this year containing the novellas 'White', 'The First Law', 'From Bad Flesh' and 'The Origin of Truth', and two new long novellas, 'Hell' and 'Mannequin Man and the Plastic Bitch'. There's ordering details and some sample artwork up at the Night Shade site at www.nightshadebooks.com.

The next two books will be a major dark fantasy duology. THE DEAD OF NIGHT will consist of two books. DUSK will be released sometime next year, with DAWN to follow, probably early 2004. I'm extremely excited about this project. I'm itching to get writing, the ideas are flowing thick and fast, and even though DUSK is only just begun, the whole world exists already in my imagination. It'll be a huge-ranging, big-scale fantasy - very, very dark - with monstrous magicians and natural disasters and wraiths and Red Monks and tumblers and massive battles and zombies ... and so much more.

So keep your eyes peeled. Watch out for the DUSK and DAWN promotional website, hitting the net soon. And lots more besides. As ever ... watch this space!

It will be released in limited edition numbered and lettered hardcovers, and will include some exciting extra goodies as well. No title or details as yet ... but watch this space!
